Is Dominium free to use?
Dominium is free for tenants to browse and inquire about properties. Landlords pay a small commission on collected rent, and caretakers can create free profiles with optional premium features.
Which areas do you cover?
We currently operate in major cities across Kenya including Nairobi, Mombasa, Kisumu, Nakuru, and Eldoret. We're expanding to more towns soon.

How do I search for apartments?
You can search using our map view, filter by location, price, property type, and amenities. Save your favorite properties to your wishlist for later viewing.
How do I schedule a viewing?
On any property listing, click "Schedule Viewing" and choose your preferred date and time. The landlord or caretaker will confirm your appointment.
Can I pay rent through Dominium?
Yes! Once you're a tenant of a property managed through Dominium, you can pay your rent directly via M-Pesa through our platform.
How do I contact the landlord?
Each property listing has a "Contact Landlord" button that opens a contact form. You can also see their phone number on the listing page.
Landlords Questions
How do I list my property?
Create a landlord account, verify your email, then click "List Property" from your dashboard. Fill in all details, upload photos, and publish.
What are your fees?
We charge a small transaction fee of 1-2% on rent collected through our platform, depending on your subscription plan. There are no listing fees.
How do I receive rent payments?
Rent payments are automatically sent to your registered M-Pesa paybill/till or bank account. You can track all payments in your dashboard.
Can I have multiple properties?
Yes, absolutely! You can manage all your properties from a single landlord account with our portfolio management tools.
Caretakers Questions
How do I become a caretaker on Dominium?
Create a caretaker profile, list your skills and experience, and get verified. You can then apply for caretaker positions posted by landlords.
Can I work for multiple landlords?
Yes! Caretakers can be assigned to multiple apartments from different landlords. Our platform makes it easy to manage all your assignments.
How do I get paid?
Landlords can pay you directly through the platform. Your earnings are tracked and can be withdrawn to your M-Pesa account.
Payments Questions
Is M-Pesa payment secure?
Yes, all M-Pesa transactions are processed securely through Safaricom's official API. We never store your PIN or sensitive information.
What payment methods do you accept?
We primarily use M-Pesa for rent collection. Landlords can also receive payments via bank transfer.
How long does payment processing take?
M-Pesa payments are instant. Funds are available in the landlord's account immediately, minus our small transaction fee.
Account Questions
How do I reset my password?
Click "Forgot Password" on the login page and enter your email. You'll receive a link to reset your password.
Can I change my account type?
Yes, you can request an account type change from your profile settings. Some users may have multiple roles (e.g., landlord and tenant).
